An international nutraceutical client needed a new manufacturing line design to be fully operational within 90 days to accommodate unique bottle and bottle and cap application for master unveiling at national convention show already marketed for launch.
Unique glass bottle cleaning systems were required. "Sift" handling systems provided unique handling challenges for the desired production rate.
DLT brought equipment suppliers and vendors to the plant and briefed them on the bottle and package challenge. We collectively explored options and through accelerated meetings over one weekend we created a unique "soft" handling and cleaning system to provide desired outcome and quality compliance for the client’s benefit.
Through 24/7 design, manufacture and build efforts coupled with weekend around the clock installation efforts the line operated as specified ahead of schedule and still provides exceptional results three years later for the same client.

National dollar client wanted their existing coffee syrup line to continue, even in the face of rising fuel, packaging and ingredient costs. Client could not absorb any price increases but desperately wanted to maintain the line due to its popularity – they didn’t want to lose the line by being priced out of the category.
Every component of the existing product had realized a cost increase in the recent past which elevated its price point past profitability for all stakeholders.
In cooperation with the client, DLT reformulated the product yielding a lower cost yet high-quality solution. We added value through a refresh of the label and product presentation. DLT also modified production strategies while revising buying agreements with vendors to help increase margins and stabilize price fluctuations.
The product still remains on the shelf (three years later). It is still cost effective for the client and provides a positive return for the entire supply chain.
Cost-Effective Speed to Market
A National Super Store Client needed a cost-effective organic syrup solution for a seasonal promotion… only two months prior to the product on-shelf promise date.
Cost and speed to market were the primary challenges with this project. An off-shore supplier of ingredients was only way to ensure cost-effective supply. Additionally, the plant needed to become organically certified with all associated systems within 2 weeks to ensure enough production time to hit the deadline.
DLT created all the systems and procedures required to meet both the very tight timeline as well as certification criteria. We trained all associates within 2 weeks, sought and located a cost-effective off shore supply of ingredients while certifying and validating off-shore supplier credentials in parallel. Additionally, we verified ingredient and formulation compliance to organic regulatory affairs in very short order.
The product was manufactured and shipped on time as promised. It was cost effective for the client. DLT became a certified supplier with offshore partnerships. SOP’s for all systems and procedures were implemented for successful product launch to market.
